Description

As the Client Support Associate, you will provide client service support to the UK sales channel, as well as the wider Columbia Threadneedle business in the UK and Client Services channel in which you operate, in line with the Pooled Client Service process.

This role is office based and involves providing support on both a proactive and reactive basis, preempting where possible and responding to client and prospect requests, progressing internal aspects of the Onboarding, Sales Procedure and Wholesale Client Service Procedures. The role is an integral part of the sales process and involves a variety of activities, including:

  • Frontline for client and prospect queries and requests ensuring they are answered timely and accurately and recorded on our Client Relationship Management system;
  • Liaison with the Transfer Agents via the UK and Luxembourg based CTI Oversight teams, Finance and Legal to facilitate client take on and maintenance procedures including account opening, queries and invoicing
  • Co-ordination and completion of internal activities in support of the Sales team, including client and distributor due diligence, share class requests and implementation of procedural controls;
  • Co-ordination of automation and / or dispatch of Fund literature e.g. factsheets, portfolios, commentaries;
  • Co-ordination and / or completion of fund questionnaires from various types of clients and prospects including management of operational templates for key Distribution Platforms
  • Involvement with legal agreements with potential distributors, including rebate agreements, fund share classes maintenance and liaison with in country external Legal Counsel;
  • Assistance, alongside marketing, with Fund presentations for in-house meetings, conferences and roadshows;
  • Attendance where required at meetings and conference calls with clients, prospects, fund managers and ratings agencies;
  • Occasional attendance at external events on a local and regional basis as required;
  • Awareness of internal Policies and risks that apply to the role and controls relating to them;
  • Adherence to all controls applicable to the role, ensuring they are carried out appropriately and relevant Procedure documentation is followed and updated, advancing errors and risks as appropriate.
