Job Type: Client Support Worker – Part time, Temporary, “term employee”
Pay: CA$24.79 per hour
STEPs on Arthur, - a service center who supports adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities is seeking two dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Client Support Worker to assist our team and provide individualized support to two clients with higher needs. As a Client Support Worker, you will support an individual who requires one-on-one assistance throughout their day. This position will be responsible for supporting daily routines, client choice, community engagement, therapeutic activities, while promoting independence and a meaningful quality of life. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager, and will support client needs while collaborating with Program Instructors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A post-secondary degree/certificate in the Human Services field, Disability Support Worker (or equivalent of education and experience would be an asset.)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
