Excellent analytical, networking and communication skills will be required to:

Responsibilities

Excellent analytical, networking and communication skills will be required to:

  • Understand the Northwest region’s approach and use this understanding to ensure strong engagement of both education settings and volunteer climate ambassadors
  • Work with project partners to equip Climate Ambassadors and education settings with the knowledge and resources they need to develop meaningful Climate Action Plans

You will be employed and hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University, supported by the Northwest hub of the Climate Ambassadors programme – Regional Hub Manager, Dr Cormac Lawler, and the Regional Hub Lead, Dr Rachel Dunk – to ensure you have the support you need to access the various expertise, networks, and resources the organisation has. You’ll also be an integral part of the national Climate Ambassador programme, including eight other regional hubs. This structure will mean you’ll have two primary reporting and support mechanisms – within the organisation and through the national programme team.
