JUNGLESPORT IS HIRING!

Junglesport Inc. is a mobile climbing and adventure company that provides exciting and challenging climbing programs for students in Grades K-12. Operating for 20 years, Junglesport services over 250 schools each year! Junglesport is currently looking for two full-time (37.5 hours/week) instructors for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. This job will be primarily based in Peel (Mississauga and Brampton ) and West Toronto Areas (Etobicoke and some North York).
The timeline for hiring are as follows:
Deadline for Application: August 18th
Interviews Starting Aug 19th
Training Week: Sept 2-5th
First Contract: Sept 15th
Job Responsibilities

Working with co-instructors, your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up and tear down the Junglesport structure each week
  • Perform daily inspections of safety equipment
  • Demonstrate, support, and supervise the use of Low Rope activities for younger students
  • Demonstrate, support, and supervise the use of Fixed Line and Top Rope systems
  • Changeover of activities throughout the week
  • Adhere to company policies, procedure, and curriculum
  • Demonstrate strong risk management skills
  • Ensure the safe and professional delivery of Junglesport programs

Qualifications and Skills

**

  • Minimum 1 year instructional experience working with youth aged 4-16
  • Experience in recreation or education such as camps, outdoor programs, or teaching
  • Climbing experience is beneficial, but not required
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs for setups and teardowns
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, diligence, and professionalism
  • G License and reliable vehicle access is essential due to the mobile nature of the company
  • Programs are booked in a consistent geographical area; however, some extra driving may be occasionally required
  • Ability to work and problem solve with minimal supervision
  • Trailer towing experience an asset
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check Require
  • Trailer towing experience a significant asset
  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Police Check Required
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (3 year Abstract)
