Company Overview: Eldorado Climbing Walls, a specialty design/build construction company, has been delivering world class artificial climbing walls for over two decades across North America. Our projects are built both indoors and outdoors and range from small residential builds to large climbing gyms. In 2013 Eldorado constructed the largest man made outdoor
climbing facility in the world at the Summit Bechtel Boy Scout Preserve in West Virginia. Our client list includes Google, Facebook, Adobe, Vail Resorts, Aspen Skiing Company, and over a hundred colleges and universities.
Position: The Production Manager leads and manages a team of 10+ crew members in the fabrication of custom climbing walls and products. In addition to managing the production of 1 - 3 climbing walls simultaneously, the Production Shop Manager will also manage all elements of a 10,000SF warehouse including product orders, steel shop, boulder fabrication, materials and tool inventories. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic construction methodologies and well-rounded skills and knowledge of steel, welding, concrete, texture, carpentry, painting and fasteners.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of production shop management experience
• Experience managing and leading a fabrication crew of 10-15 employees
• 2+ years experience in welding, carpentry, concrete/plaster/shotcrete and general construction
• Experience writing performance evaluations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and scheduling skills
• Knowledge of state OSHA regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and plans
• Understanding of CNC machine operations
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation and team orientation
• Ability to lift 50 -100lbs and stand, squat, or kneel for 8-10 hours at a time
• Valid driver’s license

• Manage all day to day production operations; M-F 7AM to 3:30PM
• Provide and implement a safety culture for the production shop
• Schedule all project production and daily tasks
• Train all production and installation staff including, but not limited to, steel fabrication, boulder fabrication and paint disciplines
• Participate in project management meetings for each job
• Review payroll for production shop employees
• Design and implement quality control procedures for all aspects of production and installation
• Manage inventory of all shop materials and tools
• Oversee maintenance and repairs for all tooling and equipment
• Oversee packing and unpacking of project trucks

  Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
