Description
Coordinates the delivery of nursing services to patients across the organization to include Temple University Hospital, Jeanes Campus, Episcopal Campus and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Rounds on all units and uses automated surveillance systems to monitor and engage with bedside staff to identify patients possibly at risk for clinical deterioration. Serves as an expert clinical resource to provide education and debriefing after an RRT/Code event has occurred. Conducts monitoring on patients downgraded out of Intensive Care Units to lower acuity units. Provides educational in-services as appropriate. Provides tracking, data collection and monitoring of metrics used to measure the productivity and quality of care delivered in all areas of the program. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting Required 3 years experience as a RN in critical care, pre-hospital or emergency nursing Required Licenses Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required Basic Life Support Required PA Registered Nurse License Required or Multi State Compact RN License Required Cert Critical Care RN Preferred or Cert Emergency Nurse Preferred or PA PreHospital RN Cert Preferred
