Description

CLINIC ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Greet and register patients at the reception counter
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments
  • Answer phone calls, respond to queries, and provide basic information
  • Assist doctors during consultations and procedures
  • Prepare consultation rooms, ensure cleanliness and stock of medical supplies
  • Measure and record vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, height, weight)
  • Dispense medication as prescribed and explain dosage to patients
  • Handle billing, payments and related administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of medical/office supplies
  • Ensure clinic’s cleanliness and compliance with MOH regulations
  • Support ad hoc duties as assigned by the clinic manager or healthcare team
  • Bilingual - Able to communicate with Chinese speaking patients
