About Us: Victoria University TAFE (VU TAFE) delivers vocational education and training that prepares learners for the workforce with job-ready qualifications, upskilling, reskilling, and pathways to further study. About the Role: The successful candidate/s will be required to perform duties and will have responsibilities associated with leading the clinical education and supervision of students, as well as daily business operations within the VU Osteopathy Clinic at our new City Tower Campus. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills and will be a dynamic clinician and educator who is capable of providing students and clinic supervisors with feedback and direction to contribute to their professional and personal growth. This is a part time continuing position at a HEP 8, $110,100 - $123,987 classification working 2 days per week. The clinic operating hours are 8am to 8pm Mon-Fri, some evening work may be required. This vacancy is for a 0.4 FTE employee (working two days per week in a job share role). Duties An example of duties you may perform will include: Clinical Operations Manage the daily operations of the clinic, including rostering of students and staff, managing supervising clinicians, equipment requirements. Manage and oversee operational procedures and protocols Undertaken administration of internal and external placements and agreements OH&S and risk management Supervision and/or Education Liaise with academic teams to ensure the clinic, and clinical assessment, aligns with course learning outcomes and accreditation requirements Assessing student competency within the clinical setting including development of professional behaviours and procedural skills Undertake clinical supervision shifts within the VU osteopathy clinic and/or external outreach clinics as required Provide leadership and general direction to clinical supervisors supervising in the VU osteopathy clinic.
