We’re hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a respected family medicine provider who cares for patients of all ages and performs a variety of in-office procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Clean, prepare and restock exam rooms. Assist physician with procedures as directed. Administer medications and allergy shots as ordered. Schedule mammograms, CT scans, ultrasounds, surgery, or any outpatient procedures as directed by the physician. Perform hearing and tympanogram tests for individuals and companies; UA collection for routine and company drug screens; ear washes; BPV’s; EKG’s; immunizations; dressing changes. Notify patients of lab or radiology results or complete any follow-up calls to patients under the direction of the provider. Provide patient education as directed. Ensure all pertinent patient information is documented in the EMR. Send requests to the Referral Coordinator for appointments with other specialty clinics and physicians. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Current LPN in the state of Minnesota. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and communicate effectively. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Decision-making and problem-solving. Team building. Performance Standards Must adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards. Must adhere to the Keys to Heartfelt Care. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position. Schedule Full-Time, 64 hours per pay period Weekdays Weekend rotation at Glenwood Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic, approx. 1:10+ May be assigned to work with other clinic providers as needed.
