Terra Nova Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Clinic Manager to join our new, state-of-the-art clinic situated in the beautiful Garibaldi Highlands. Our clinic, soon to open next door to a brand-new pharmacy in February 2024, is part of a larger network of Terra Nova clinics, with a robust team of over 2 Managers and 14 MOAs situated mostly in the Lower Mainland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a healthcare team that values quality patient care and team collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare environment is an asset.
• Proficient in the use of computer programs and medical software.
• Able to multitask and handle pressure during busy periods.

EDUCATION:

Grade 12

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in healthcare management software and MS Office Suite

• Provide effective leadership to clinic staff, promoting a collaborative and patient-centric culture
• Develop and enforce clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and billing processes
• Manage the clinic budget, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline processes and enhance patient care delivery
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to support professional growth and development
• Address and resolve patient concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction
• Cultivate positive relationships with vendors and external partners
• Assess key performance indicators to gauge the effectiveness of quality improvement projects and the influence of digital tools on the operational efficiency of the clinic.
