Medical Science Liaison - Neuroscience

We are partnering with a growing, CNS-focused pharmaceutical company to recruit a Medical Science Liaison within Neurology. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding Medical Affairs team supporting an innovative CNS portfolio, with a particular focus on Multiple Sclerosis.

The role offers the opportunity to engage with Ireland's leading Neurologists and healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality scientific exchange while helping shape medical strategy and evidence-generation activities within a dynamic and patient-focused organisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with Neurologists, MS specialists and other key healthcare professionals across Ireland.
• Deliver balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange and communicate complex clinical data to external stakeholders.
• Gather, analyse and communicate medical insights to support business strategy and improve patient outcomes.
• Support the execution of local and international Medical Affairs plans.
• Identify opportunities for evidence generation, collaborative research and medical education initiatives.
• Support advisory boards, scientific meetings, congress activities and educational programmes.
• Respond to complex scientific enquiries and provide medical support to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Market Access and Medical colleagues to ensure a coordinated approach to customer engagement.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Multiple Sclerosis landscape, emerging data and competitor activities.
• Ensure all activities are delivered in line with ethical, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor or similar Medical Affairs position.
• Experience within Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis or broader CNS therapy areas is required.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data to specialist audiences.
• Excellent relationship-building, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with KOLs and other external healthcare stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based position while collaborating effectively within a broader Medical Affairs team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
