MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: Expected to perform duties, render full-time, provide assistance to doctor, attends and provides quality care to patient needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES· Provides assistance and service to patients. · Taking vital signs, initial history taking. · Performs ancillary clinic procedures and encodes results correctly and accordingly. · Ensures the availability of accurate and timely ancillary results. · Assists doctors doing clinic procedures and minor OR procedures. · To observe patient’s safety during and after the procedure. · Coordinates with other department for endorsement and verification as needed. · Issues approval to diagnostic requests as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment. · Handles keeping and updating of medical records of each patient. · Monitors and ensures that equipment/machines for ancillary procedures and taking of Vital signs undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled. · To render overtime after regular working hours even during non-working days due to workload. · Provincial APE – to properly coordinate to provincial hospital/clinics regarding APE prior to members’ avails by providing or issuance of LOA. · Prepares and submits timely reports. · Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies. · Performs other related tasks assigned by Supervisor as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Education : Graduate of BS Nursing and Nursing Licensure Exam passer · Experience : At least 1 year work experience · Other Skills : Average verbal and written communications, with initiative, organized and with patience, Computer Literate.
