Description

Overview Obtains basic vital signs on patients (weight, BP, EKG, etc.). Triage patient phone calls. Monitor lab results/report these to provider. Review test results with patient as instructed by provider. Manage prescription refills with patient/pharmacy/physician. Oversee patients' charts for appointment (make sure all records are in chart/referrals in chart/any test results in chart)/ Pre-load information into Epic. Make sure patients are appropriately scheduled according to guidelines. RN Degree and current NC or Compact State License required. BLS certification required. Minimum 2 years experience in nursing required. At least 1 year of clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The role involves obtaining basic patient vital signs, triaging phone calls, monitoring and reporting lab results, and managing prescription refills in coordination with providers and pharmacies. The nurse will also oversee patient charts for appointments, ensuring all necessary records and referrals are present, and pre-load information into Epic.
