Description Location: Alma, NE Department: Harlan Family Medicine Clinic Join Our Team at Harlan Family Medicine Clinic! We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our clinic team at Harlan County Health System. You’ll play a vital role in caring for patients of all ages — assisting with exams, administering medications, and providing education that empowers patients and families. What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, education, and documentation in the EHR. Assist with exams, procedures, and treatments as directed by the provider. Administer medications and immunizations safely and accurately. Monitor and report patient symptoms, responses, and progress. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and fellow team members for coordinated care. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and medications. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards. Support efficient clinic operations and participate in quality improvement efforts. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Prior clinical experience preferred but not required — we’ll train the right person! Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Physical & Working Requirements Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs). Direct patient contact in a clinical setting with potential exposure to bodily fluids. Must follow infection control and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
