Description

Mackinac Straits Health System is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Practice Quality Manager to join our team. As a Practice Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our practice maintains high standard of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for standardizing, implementing and monitoring quality improvement metrics, developing and implementing policies and procedures and analyzing data to identify areas of improvement. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with all team members at all levels of the organization. As a Practice Quality Manager, you will work with ambulatory executives to ensure quality metrics from HEDIS, RHC and PCMH are maintained and submitted in a timely fashion. Your expertise will help drive our organization’s commitment to providing exceptional patient care and improving patient outcomes.
As a Practice Quality Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including providers, nurses, administrators and support staff to establish and maintain quality standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement. If you are detail oriented, analytical and collaborative healthcare individual with a proven track record of driving measurable outcome we would love to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • RN licensure preferred, will accept LPN or CMA with relevant clinic healthcare experience with strong clinical quality background
  • Customer service focused
  • Able to develop positive relations with staff, lead and inspire teams to achieve quality improvement goals
  • Positively represents the practices both within and outside the organization
  • Computer literacy with Word, Excel and EMR
  • Data retrieval and analysis
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously when needed
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that patient care is provided are of the highest quality achievable within effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to establish and maintain quality standards. Manages quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility and ensures compliance with HEDIS indicators and other mandated standards.
  • Monitors, and responds to quality measures and outcomes within BCBS, ACO, PCMH, RHC and all VBP initiatives
  • Must have the ability to evaluate all aspects of care, identify problems and work within the healthcare team to develop solutions
  • Works collaboratively with leaders to build needed quality and operational reports within EMR. Uses data to help drive decision-making in the clinics. Has the ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information verbally and visually.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to address identified areas for improvement
  • Collaborates and provides support to internal and external customers as it relates to clinical quality.
    · Works directly with staff to correct any deficient practices, uses evidence based tools like DMAIC and PDSA to develop process improvements
