CLINIC RECEPTIONIST JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced, full-time female receptionist for our holistic health centre. Please read carefully before applying—only qualified candidates will be considered.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

  • Minimum 2 years of proven receptionist/front desk experience in a healthcare or wellness setting
  • (Applicants without this experience will not be considered.)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory (Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities—You will frequently manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously under pressure.
  • Strong scheduling skills: You must demonstrate the ability to schedule and organize patient appointments smartly, optimizing practitioners’ time while minimizing patient waiting periods.
  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills: Empathy, patience, and a genuinely warm personality are essential.
  • Ability to handle stress professionally: Calmness under pressure and resilience in handling demanding patient interactions are vital.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic accounting tasks.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and flexible scheduling (two weeks per month at 5-day work weeks, two weeks per month at 6-day work weeks, with 9-hour daily shifts).Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage the clinic’s phone calls, email inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
  • Expertly handle billing, payments, and basic accounting duties with accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide verbal translation between therapists and patients (English/Arabic) when necessary.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and organized at all times.
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service, handling patient concerns with discretion and care.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists and clinic staff, assisting proactively to enhance patient experience and care.
Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing a busy healthcare reception. You must possess exceptional skills in handling patient demands, multitasking efficiently, and scheduling appointments strategically to ensure optimal workflow.
