Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and driven individual to join our team as a Receptionist at our thriving integrated wellness centre. As the Receptionist, you will have a crucial role in maintaining the efficient functioning of our clinic and making valuable contributions to the success of our integrated rehabilitation environment. The right candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships between our patients, staff and other referral sources. They will achieve this by efficiently providing administrative support and coordinating clinic activity with a welcoming, enthusiastic and professional service. A successful applicant should be an excellent communicator, detail oriented, have strong organizational, multitasking and time-management skills and welcome the opportunity of working in a busy, fast paced clinic setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Answering phones, greeting patients
  • Booking new patients and follow up appointments
  • Processing payments and extended health care billing portals
  • General administrative duties- filing patient documents, assisting patients with paperwork and maintaining patient records
  • Corresponding with Motor Vehicle adjusters and other insurance company representatives
  • Knowledge of how to access all types of Physiotherapy funding
  • Assisting patients to the treatment area if required
  • Communication with practitioners
  • Responsible for clinic cleaning duties as directed

QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Experience in a Physiotherapy/Chiropractic clinic is an asset
  • Experience in Kinesiology is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience of Jane App is an asset
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
