QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years’ receptionist/administrative experience, ideally in a dental, foot care, or chiropractic clinic
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong asset
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Chrome, and Google Workspace (G Suite)

Preferred Assets

  • Experience in sales, social media, or basic marketing
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR basics
  • Knowledge of podiatry or medical terminology
Responsibilities

Administrative & Front Desk Duties

  • Manage a multi-line phone system; respond promptly to patient and professional inquiries
  • Schedule and manage appointments using EMR software
  • Process payments, issue invoices, and reconcile end-of-day balances
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Scan, link, and print documents/forms for patient charts
  • Update and manage patient, physician, and insurance information in the EMR

Clinical Support & Workflow

  • Escort patients to treatment rooms and assist with medical history intake
  • Monitor appointment flow and prepare orthotics documentation
  • Receive product shipments and coordinate patient pick-up appointments
  • Follow sterilization protocols; clean instruments and assemble surgical packs

Inventory & Office Management

  • Track and maintain inventory of medical and office supplies
  • Notify lead Chiropodist of low stock for timely reordering
  • Ensure the clinic remains professional, organized, and welcoming
