Description Southeast Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. The Clinic RN will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting. This position requires a skilled and motivated individual who can effectively manage patient flow, administer treatments, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Requirements Essential Job Functions: Patient Assessment and Triage: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation. Triage patients based on acuity and urgency. Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians. Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other therapeutic interventions. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, medication management, and preventative health measures. Assess patient understanding and provide reinforcement as needed. Health Maintenance and Screenings: Conduct health screenings, immunizations, and preventative care services. Specimen Collection: Accurately collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis. Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with minor procedures. Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Facilitate referrals and follow-up appointments. Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medical supplies and medications. Adherence to Protocols: Follow established clinic protocols, policies, and procedures. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and universal precautions. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of [Insert Number] year(s) of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
