Position in this function is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing to include patient care. May serve in a leadership role and is accountable for professional practice. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in Compliance and other important training is a condition of employment. Primary Responsibilities: Manages the patient care process by ensuring that a comprehensive patient assessment and plan of care is completed and documented on all patients within the time frame of the established policy May manage staff members, assess the needs of patients, delegates tasks, and supports staff with duties when needed Establishes collaborative relationships with members of the healthcare team and facilitates the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and supporting clinic staff Adheres to regulatory and organization policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety Participates and attends departmental meetings and professional development activities Demonstrates quality improvement, facilitating the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and functioning of the unit Completing basic RN competencies including triage (in-person and phone), nurse book, and I &R testing. in addition to departmental specific competencies Other duties as assigned You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license or eligible for licensure by examination Current BLS Certification 1+ years of experience Proven ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality Proven management skills; solid organization and problem solving skills Proven to work well in a team setting Proven to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
