Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Clinic Services Specialist (CSS I and CSS II) staff at a designated site while also performing the duties of a CSS. Oversee workflow coordination, problem-solving, and staff scheduling as needed. Participate as a member of the health care team in collaboration with and under the direction of the department manager. Clinic Services Specialist (CSS) Responsibilities: Incumbents in this job perform a wide variety of complex tasks, requiring prioritization and discretion. Performs complex activities such as scheduling, insurance verification, registration, balancing of co-pay money and balancing of daily or weekly deposits. Position serves as a resource for other staff, problem solves independently, mentors others and is self-directed. Position also interfaces with physicians and other staff on a regular basis and may do limited amount of coding and charge entry. Qualifications Experience: A minimum of three years of progressively more responsible health care experience or equivalent education in at least one of the following areas required: Admitting Medical Records/Health Information Applicable clerical support experience Skills: Communications skills. Basic computer/data entry skills. Work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines. Pay Range USD $22.08 - USD $31.58 /Hr.
