Pay is $10 an hour. Approximately 20 hours a week Qualifications: Relationship Management skills- candidate is proactive, responsive and is a strategic resource Candidate demonstrates relationship building skills Educated and/or a quick learner capable of being knowledgeable on topics within gestational diabetes, functional medicine and/or topics in nutrition Healthcare experience is a must, the type of experience can vary. Women's Health experience is a plus. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn and navigate patient electronic health record system, DoseSpot, and CoverMyMeds A passion to initiate change in healthcare High level of technological proficiency Highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is intrinsically motivated and a self-starter Strong communication skills Strong project planning, business development, & management skills Role Responsibilities including but not limited to: Promptly handle phone calls & GDM@simplexhealth.com emails from all partnered OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine offices Troubleshoot & problem solve for partnering physicians, nurses, and office staff in regards to gestational diabetes patients’ health. This will include investigating where errors occurred- whether in our system, with our dietitians, and/or the patient. You are expected to solve the situation with our partnering OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine practices, our director of gestational diabetes and dietitians, and our scheduling team Send out weekly glucose logs to all OBGYN Partnerships on designated reporting days Track and update referred patients that did not schedule, specifically women's health patient leads Data Entry Review: verify women's health patient information (name, DOB, due date, reason for visit, referring provider and fax number) is correct in Healthie and Heaps. Also reviews of the correct faxes went out on patient notes to partners Facilitate electronic prescriptions for diabetes testing supplies to patients' pharmacies; complete Prior Authorizations when necessary to support getting patients their necessary products. Files Prior Authorizations in patient’s electronic medical record Facilitate Insulin start training appointments with physicians and scheduling team as needed Track patients who have delivered and manage postpartum email campaign
Responsibilities
The Clinical Administrative Assistant will handle phone calls and emails from partnered OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine offices, troubleshoot issues related to gestational diabetes patients, and manage patient data entry and follow-ups. Additional responsibilities include facilitating electronic prescriptions and tracking postpartum communications.
