CLINICAL ADMINISTRATOR WARDS

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our friendly Ward team at One Ashford Hospital.

Reporting to the Ward Manager / Sister, the successful Clinical Administrator will:

  • provide a high standard of customer service
  • liaise with patients and key stakeholders to complete booking requirements
  • ensure our main reception duties and enquiries are handled professionally with a focus on delivering good customer service at all times
  • provide administrative support to the inpatient team, including managing the appointment system, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately & assisting with audits

Hours: 34.5 hours per week over 3 days.
Typical shifts will be from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work 3 x11.5 hour shifts per week; there will be a requirement to work on Saturdays from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum GCSE education or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
  • 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients
