NEURODIVERSE PLAYHOUSE – BRISBANE (SPRING HILL BASE, WITH TRAVEL ACROSS QLD PLAYHOUSES)

Permanent Full-Time (5 Days – 3 Clinical / 2 Management)
At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where neurodiverse children can play, learn, and thrive. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Allied Health Manager to lead our team across our Queensland Playhouses, with a home base at our Spring Hill location.
This role is ideal for a senior Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist who loves working directly with children and families, while also guiding and mentoring a dedicated allied health team.
About the Role

This is a blended leadership and clinical role, giving you the opportunity to stay connected with your clients while shaping the direction of our services.

  • 3 days per week: Deliver evidence-based therapy for neurodiverse children and families
  • 2 days per week: Oversee clinical governance, team support, and service quality across our QLD Playhouses
  • Some travel to regional QLD Playhouse sites will be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy with a focus on child-led and play-based practice
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of allied health professionals across multiple sites
  • Drive clinical excellence and ensure compliance with best practice standards
  • Work closely with leadership to expand and strengthen services
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive workplace culture where staff and families feel valued

About You

You are a collaborative and confident leader who thrives on balancing clinical practice with team development.

  • Qualified OT or Speech Pathologist with current AHPRA/SPA registration
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience within allied health
  • Strong clinical background working with neurodiverse children
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills
  • Flexible and motivated, with a willingness to travel between locations as needed
