This collaborative venture brings industry partners with the university’s top research professionals, translating research into novel clinical tests.

The Clinical Assay Development Assistant Scientist reports directly to the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
Position Overview:
St. John’s University researchers work to discover and bring life-changing discoveries and medicines to those who need them. We are looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world and support the mission of the University. You will join the Venture Clinical Laboratory team to develop novel molecular tests to aid in diagnosing various diseases. We seek an ambitious individual with strong research, clinical test development, and communication skills to contribute to highly visible research projects that will translate into clinical tests.
