Rooted in the rich history of midwifery, our mission is to educate the next generation of midwives and to improve access to care for all by supporting communities to achieve reproductive health equity. The University of Arizona, College of Nursing, and Nurse-Midwifery program are committed to Inclusive Excellence, promoting an environment where all faculty, staff and students can bring their full selves to our learning community.
In addition to Nurse-Midwifery, our advanced practice specialties include Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), Family NP, Pediatric NP, Psychiatric Mental Health NP, and Nurse Anesthetist, as well as non-clinical specialties such as Executive Health Systems Leadership, Informatics and MS-DNP. Program faculty work collaboratively across disciplines to provide a transformative educational environment. We are able to offer varied FTE depending on the needs of the specific program and the incumbent.
Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance and disability programs; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; retirement plans; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!
