Leave of Absence Coverage: Start Date January 5th Requirements The Clinical Assistant is responsible for attending to patients’ pre-surgery and ensuring all relevant patient information is collected and recorded in preparation for surgery. Clinical Assistant Responsibilities: Verifies patient information (i.e., medical history, purpose of visit) by communicating with a patient Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature Records appropriate patient information on patient charts and/or Salesforce Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records Counsels’ patients by transmitting physician’s orders and questions about surgery Assists in preparation of charts, pre-admission, and consent forms Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures as well as complies with legal regulations Upkeep’s inventory of supplies as needed Education & Experience High School diploma Excellent verbal and written communication skills Medical Terminology knowledge preferred Holds and maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Bilingual in English and Spanish Join us: https://miaaesthetics.com/careers/ #miajobs #mia_talent
