I-MED Radiology Network, North Tasmania, are currently seeking a Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Clinical Assistant operator to join their busy team within Launceston. This will be a Full-Time Position and will involve performing BMD scans, completing clinical duties such as assisting technologists, maintaining adequate stock levels and sorting supplies. Having previous experience in patient handling & communication is essential to be successful in this role. Participants must be willing to complete a recognised BMD course in safe use of bone mineral densitometers and then they will be reimbursed the costs by the employer. The BMD Course is available to participants who have: * relevant health-based science degree level qualification; including medical science, nursing, allied health or tertiary education in science or health science-based courses. * a professional knowledge of human anatomy * an interest in bone densitometry and body composition analysis.
