  • Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
  • You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
  • You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
  • Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (start time between 7:15am and 8:00 am).

Responsibilities
  • You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
  • You answer patients’ questions and ensure the best service.
  • You work closely with Optometrists.
  • You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
  • You update the appointment system after every patient’s consultation.
  • You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.
  • You will be cross-trained as a Receptionist (once the initial training is completed).
