A family medicine clinic in St. Thomas, Ontario, is seeking a motivated and dependable Clinical Assistant to join its team.

This position is particularly suitable for an International Medical Graduate (IMG) interested in gaining practical experience within the Canadian primary care system while contributing their existing medical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities may include:

✅ Assisting with patient intake, histories and documentation

✅ Measuring and recording vital signs

✅ Supporting patient flow and preparing examination rooms

✅ Updating patient charts and managing incoming results

✅ Assisting the physician with clinical and administrative tasks

✅ Using Accuro EMR and learning Ontario clinic workflows

✅ Coordinating referrals, investigations and follow-up appointments

The ideal candidate will have:

✔ A medical degree or healthcare background

✔ Strong communication and organizational skills

✔ Professionalism, reliability and attention to detail

✔ Good computer skills

✔ Accuro EMR experience is an asset, but training can be provided

✔ Authorization to work in Canada
