Essential Job Functions Conduct nurse-led clinic visits, including wound checks and patient education Triage patient phone calls and provide timely follow-up and guidance Assist with procedure preparation and post-procedure follow-up Support cardiac device technologists with patient assessments and coordination Manage the Coumadin clinic and anticoagulation monitoring protocols Deliver customized patient and caregiver education using various formats Coordinate and document individualized care plans using evidence-based practices Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team Prioritize care while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies, procedures, and safety standards Exhibit respect for patients’ rights, confidentiality, and legal requirements Participate in performance improvement initiatives and nursing practice committees Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education Actively support staff mentoring, coaching, and peer review processes Utilize resources efficiently and promote a culture of accountability and excellence Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned Graduate of an approved school of nursing Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department Certification Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida. Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. Experience Minimum 1 year experience required within Ambulatory care or cardiac-related setting
