DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The College of Liberal Arts at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work to teach graduate level social work classes and serve as the MSW Field Director. The Clinical Assistant Professor is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities for clinical education and service. Clinical faculty may participate in research or other scholarly or creative activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITIONS ARE:
An MSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program
A minimum of five years post-MSW social work practice experience.
Have practical/clinical experience appropriate for the responsibilities assigned, and must maintain appropriate professional credentials (License at the LCSW level)
Teaching experience in micro, mezzo and/or macro teaching experience
Capacity to teach across program levels (bachelor’s and master’s)
Ability to teach via various instructional delivery methods including face-to-face, service-learning, and online
Salary: Commensurate
Teaching: A regular Social work faculty member teaches a full-time load (12-13 credits/semester)/ online, face to face, or blended.
Service: Provide clinical or non-clinical supervision to social work students, serve on academic committees, advise and mentor students, perform scholarly research activities, and service activities.
