  The School of Social Work at The University of Memphis invites applications for a non-tenure-track 12-month position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level to start August 1, 2026. Position will include teaching and advising in either the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work or the Master of Social Work program, as well as other duties assigned based on school need.  The position will start in the fall of 2026, pending the availability of funds. The teaching load is typically 5-5-2. The teaching load is reduced based on the amount of time assigned to advising or other school related assignments. The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work Program and the Master of Social Work Program are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The University of Memphis is a major metropolitan research university committed to excellence in education and service to the community. Founded in 1912, its park-like suburban campus is home to approximately 20,000 students and 2,500 faculty and staff members. The Carnegie Foundation classification for the University of Memphis is RU/VH (very high research activity).
Responsibilities
