2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   1. Assist in patient assessment by gathering clinical history and observations. 1. Ensure patient medical file available before and during consultation. 2. Assist physicians or nurses in checking approval for patient services and documentation of OPD Insurance procedures. 3. Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and update clinical documentation accurately. 4. Assisting Clinicians for proper documentation of patients , history and condition and updating it on each visit. 5. Supports administrative tasks such as appointment Scheduling and Inventory management. 6. Maintain accurate Inpatient and Out patient records and documentation. 7. Maintains Confidentiality of patients records. 8. Inform department nurse of pending admission and assist patient with admission procedure. 9. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising clinicians. 10. Demonstrate awareness of fire safety, patient safety, infection control and the other necessary precautions as per hospital policy and participates in JCI activities.   OSH ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 12. Comply with reasonable OSH instructions, policies and safe working procedures  12. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.  13. Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures  14. Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety  15. Assist with the preparation of risk assessments  16. Report OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues  17. Reduce, Reuse, Recycling of waste as much as possible  18. Attend all OSH Trainings, awareness programs and mock drills.  19. Participates in the OSHMS audits, inspections, ensuring standards are maintained   Additional duties/responsibilities (related to ADHICS) assigned to this position in clear, concise language:   Health Information Literacy and Skills:   13. Adhere to information systems policies and procedures as required by Health Care Organization.   Privacy, Confidentiality of Health Information:   12. Follow security and privacy policies and procedures to the use of networks, including intranet and Internet. 13. Follow confidentiality and security measures to protect electronic health information. 14. Maintain data integrity and validity within an information system. 15. Report any possible breaches of confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies. 16. Apply departmental and organizational data and information system security policies 17. Use basic word processing, spreadsheet and desktop presentation applications as applicable to your work. 18. Demonstrate proficiency in Windows operating environment. 19. Demonstrate use of email, addressing, forwarding, attachments, netiquette.   Health Information/Data Technical Security:                Basic Computer Literacy Skills:       BCP ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 14. Responsibilities of staff (including all contractors) are: 1. Achieving an adequate level of general awareness regarding business continuity Being aware of the contents of their service areas disaster recovery plan and any specific role or responsibilities allocated. 1. Participating actively in the business continuity programme when required 2.31.3  Ensuring information governance standards continue to be applied to data and information during an incident
