REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• D.V.M.DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with residency training in large animal internal medicine, large animal surgery, preventative medicine or food animal practice, and certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM LAIM), American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine (ACVPM), or American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP).(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

SKILLS, PROFICIENCIES, AND/OR KNOWLEDGE:

• Expectation of excellent communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates qualified to take the ACVIM, ACVS, ACVPM, or ABVP certification examination are encouraged to apply. At least 6 years of experience post residency training is desirable. Interest and clinical experience in routine food animal theriogenology is desirable. Opportunity to participate in the food animal ambulatory service is available to interested candidates. Candidates certified by comparable EBVS recognized Colleges are encouraged to apply.
