    Signature Care presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of aged care into the future during a period of significant change.
    Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a new, experienced and qualified Clinical Manager to work closely with our Residential Manager to manage and develop our stunning, 144-bed aged care residence based in Jimboomba.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The successful applicant will have previous experience managing a large aged care residence’s clinical needs and it will be desirable if you have some experience in commissioning a new home. You will need to be an enthusiastic, hands on leader who has the energy and desire to build relationships and take the delivery of care to the next level.
With a passion for resident care and delivering high standards of customer-focused clinical care, you will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and care workers and act as a passionate mentor to your team.
You will also have close support from the Support Services team.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Ideally at least 5+ years experience as a Care Manager or within a similar role in a large aged care environment;
  • RN qualification with current Ahpra registration;
  • Excellent and up to date clinical knowledge and assessment skills;
  • Experience in staff supervision and development;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • A working knowledge of funding and accreditation processes;
  • Knowledge of care planning
  • Post graduate studies in gerontology desirable
  • Experience with clinical software packages
