Description
Responsibilities
Work with the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services, MAC chair and MAC members to lead the development of a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Ensure that the hospital strategic and operational priorities incorporate quality and safety.
Lead, support and engage the medical and clinical workforce.
Work with the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services and MAC Chair to ensure that the hospital develops and operates a robust system of clinical governance in line with the Circle Health Group framework.
Ensure that the hospital management team is provided with regular assurance on clinical compliance matters including those relating to: clinical safety, clinical effectiveness, caring, clinical responsiveness and leadership.
Work with the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services and MAC Chair to ensure that the hospital operates a robust system of medical governance.
Ensure that the hospital management team is provided with regular assurance on medical compliance matters, medical performance and medical appraisal.
