Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical CMA, LPN, or RN to join our family medicine team in Johnston, Iowa. This role is vital in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and clinical skills, ready to support a wide variety of patient care duties under the direction of providers. Key Responsibilities: Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit. Administer medications and injections as directed by providers. Assist with minor procedures and examinations. Perform point-of-care testing, EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection. Accurately document in the electronic medical record (EMR). Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions. Manage patient phone calls, prescription refills, and communication between patients and providers. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment. Support front office and clinical workflows to ensure a smooth patient experience. Follow all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety. Qualifications For Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Active CMA certification required through one of the following organizations: AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) AMT (American Medical Technologists – RMA) NHA (National Healthcareer Association) For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Current Iowa LPN license in good standing. For Registered Nurse (RN): Current Iowa RN license in good standing. All Candidates Must Have: Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a clinical outpatient setting preferred. #UPC123
