We’re looking for experienced and passionate Clinical Coders to join our Health Information Services Team. Clinical coding is an essential function for Canberra Health Services to facilitate accurate funding reimbursement, to support clinical research and education, to assist in the planning and evaluation of health care services, and to fulfil local and mandatory national data submission requirements. As a Clinical Coder at Canberra Health Services, the role includes assigning accurate clinical codes to patient episodes of care, identifying where clinical documentation requires clarification, generating coding queries, and participating in education and quality improvement activities.
