Description JOB OVERVIEW: The Clinical Concierge is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner, and procedure authorizations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Clinic Duties Schedule Injections and MRIs Check out patients Answer the telephone and handle calls in a timely and friendly manner including appropriate documentation of the call Obtains insurance authorization and verifies coverage prior to patients appointment, notifies patient of the current status Work effectively with staff Communicate with physician’s staff to ensure quality of care Maintain operations by following policies and procedures ( HIPAA- OSHA) Other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE: None EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired.
