Our evidence-based, client-centered programs span the full continuum of care—including detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) services. Position Summary: Apex Recovery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Consultant to join our expanding team. This role is vital to developing and managing partnerships with hospitals across Tennessee. The ClinicalConsultant serves as a liaison between Apex Recovery and medical/behavioral health hospitals, streamlining the referral process for patients in need of detox, residential, or outpatient behavioral health services. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain trusted relationships with hospital-based Case Managers, Social Workers, Nurses, Physicians, and other key clinical staff Serve as an expert resource on Apex Recovery’s treatment offerings and referral process Proactively identify patients appropriate for treatment at Apex Recovery and support hospital staff in coordinating seamless transitions to care Provide education and in-services to hospital teams on behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment options Collaborate with Apex’s admissions, clinical, and medical teams to ensure continuity of care Maintain detailed records of outreach activity, referral tracking, and outcomes Qualifications: College degree preferred but not required Experience working in hospitals, treatment centers, or behavioral healthcare settings Understanding of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and treatment levels of care Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and travel regularly throughout Tennessee
