ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

License: Current Valid Australian Drivers Licence
Qualification: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology
Registration: Full Registration with AHPRA for Occupational Therapy or Psychology professions, or eligibility for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Work.

This position at the Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC) offers an opportunity to deliver culturally responsive mental health support across NSW, focusing on clients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Other responsibilities may include:

• Providing culturally safe clinical consultation, advice, and short-term intervention to NSW Health mental health teams
• Supporting assessments, care planning and interventions using transcultural best practices via telehealth or face-to-face
• Delivering mental health information and psychoeducation tailored to CALD clients and their families
• Enhancing cross-cultural capability of mainstream services through professional development and consultation
• Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and contribute to recovery-oriented care in a client’s cultural context
