Free Parking Onsite    Clinical Coordinator Position Summary: Provides direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. * Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations. * Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow. * Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives. * Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures. * Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements. * Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. * Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned.   Minimum Qualifications: * Education: Associate’s degree in nursing Required * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred * License: Current RN to practice in the state of KY * BCLS required * ACLS and PALS preferred * Handle with Care preferred   Lifepoint Health is a leader in community-based care and driven by a mission of Making Communities Healthier.
