Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. currently has an opening for a full-time forensic Clinical or Counseling Psychologist.
Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. is a mental health center founded in 1984. Our Mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral health care by a culturally and linguistically competent staff that utilizes evidence-based treatment to promote recovery, dignity and well-being to consumers, their families and the community. We work closely with the court system and probation/parole services to provide services to clients involved with the criminal justice system or with child protective services.
The Psychologist position includes the following activities:
Join our Forensic Services team as we provide the highest quality, cost effective, behavioral health care to individuals, couples, families and organizations. The salary is competitive and the agency offers a benefits package. SPA provides 24 hours of free continuing education credits to its Psychologists every two years. SPA is an equal opportunity employer and encourages diverse applicants. The Psychologist has the ability to move in to administrative roles with experience at the agency.
Clinicians have the flexibility to work both in the office and work remotely for some of their week. Newly hired clinicians are assigned a senior clinician to orient the new staff member to agency procedures and to the electronic medical record. Twelve hours of free continuing education are provided to staff every year. Clinicians meet weekly to learn agency updates, procedure changes and to staff cases.
Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS), and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for its outpatient treatment mental health programs serving adults, children and adolescents, and the criminal justice population.
