Job Description:

SESSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • The service is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.
  • Session times: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, and 4pm-8pm.
  • Minimum of 4 sessions per week required.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • General adult mental health specialism experience.
  • Corporate experience and business understanding.
  • Up-to-date CPD.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to evaluate, plan, and prioritize workload within demanding time scales.
  • Proven customer service and client liaison experience.
  • Excellent application of clinical knowledge.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing own caseload and working towards individual targets and outcomes.
  • High standards in written and oral communication.
  • Diverse and varied clinical experience.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

As a Clinical Counselling Psychologist within Bupa Health Services, you’ll use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, happier lives. You’ll spend the majority of your time with our customers, doing what you do best.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence-based intervention.
  • Offer different models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
  • Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
  • Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance.
  • Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
  • Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
  • Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
  • Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
  • Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.
