Description

WayPoint Counselling Network welcomes registered master’s level counsellors or those with registration pending located in the Victoria or Western Communities of Langford, Colwood or Sooke. Candidates MUST be able to offer in-person sessions in their own office, in addition to online sessions and ideally have experience working with couples.
We provide fee-for-service counselling to individuals, children, youth, couples, and families. However, counsellors may choose what population they wish to work with. As a committed professional, you will enjoy a unique opportunity to focus on your work with clients without the competing demands of managing your online presence, marketing your services, and processing and recovering payments. Because most clients opt to talk with us first to help select a counsellor, we help make that initial match successful.
Waypoint has a rapidly growing number of client referrals and preference is given to clinicians eager to increase the number of client hours/week. Our competitive reimbursement package progressively increases based on your experience and the number of hours provided to our clients per month.

As a contractor, you are treated as an independent professional:

  • Manage your own office space
  • Determine your own hours and manage your online schedule
  • Determine the best therapeutic approach and the length and intensity of therapy for each client

Waypoint offers team members the following:

  • A steady and growing stream of client referrals matched to your areas of practice
  • A vigorous marketing approach using both web-based and community networking
  • On-line booking system
  • Freedom from managing client payments

Requirements:

  • A Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Office space in the Victoria area, this can be a home office
  • Professional registration (active or pending) with a professional association
  • Comfort in using an online scheduling system and text/email communication
