ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a CQC Inspector, with in-depth knowledge of regulations, guidelines, and standards to ensure compliance in all technical aspects
  • Is skilled in adult social care services, including domiciliary care, care homes, and supported living
  • Uses analytical data and evidence to inform risk-based decisions, providing clear rationales for action
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent documentation skills and strong attention to detail
  • Handles clients with empathy, even in challenging situations
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills, and can adapt communication style to different audiences
  • Is committed to service excellence and improving health and social care environments
  • Is professional and confident in delivering presentations
  • Has a clinical qualification, with experience in complex care, domiciliary care, supported living, or supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Is experienced in stakeholder engagement and building relationships at all levels
  • Understands the CQC judgment framework, enforcement processes, and has experience conducting or supporting investigations
  • Has knowledge of other regulatory frameworks such as CIW (Wales) and CI (Scotland)
  • Is familiar with CRM software (desirable)
  • Can travel regularly, work remotely, and manage their workload independently
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a personal vehicle (car allowance included)

Responsibilities

Care 4 Quality is actively recruiting for a Clinical QCQ Compliance Inspector with adult social care experience. You will have a portfolio of clients in your geographical region as well as cover ad-hoc requests as needed. Your aim is to become a trusted advisor, providing sound and knowledgeable support based on the latest CQC guidance in addition to building strong relationships.
