Responsibilities
  • Oversees data management activities for assigned projects. Serves as primary contact between clinical leadership and Performance Analytics department in data related issues.
  • Leads assigned projects by applying project management skills, statistical and data management techniques to facilitate better decision making, improve business operations and discover, improve, develop new methods of data dissemination.
  • Plans, develops and monitors timelines for statistical and data management activities for assigned projects.
  • Determines data required for projects and identifies data to satisfy informational needs.
  • Ensures appropriate data analysis is performed and validates the accuracy and integrity of the data output. .
  • Assists with development of and progress on implementation plans by providing support related to collection, organization, and monitoring of data and timelines. Coordinates monthly implementation status report for leadership.
  • Prepares presentation materials that are concise, accurate, and clear to ensure clarity and appropriately respond to customer informational needs.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new statistical and data management methodologies to improve current/future decision making and medical center processes.
  • Serves as key resource and team member within the Department. Ensures high quality service to customers by maintaining knowledge and skills for self-development.
  • Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
