Description

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ophthalmology within a clinical and/or quality compliance role.
  • Experience with EHR systems such as Epic, NextGen, Nextech, Modernizing Medicine, EyeMD, Compulink, or similar.
  • Exposure to additional specialties is preferred, but ophthalmology experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, health policy, or a related field is preferred but not required.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate CSV files and translate data into usable formats.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting clinical documentation within EHR platforms.
  • Working knowledge of value-based care models and regulatory programs such as MIPS, ASCQR, and HIPAA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Anatomy IT is seeking a Clinical Data & Compliance Analyst – Value-Based Care to support the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and data-driven services to medical practices. This role focuses on clinical data analysis with the opportunity to grow their knowledge in health policy, enabling providers to succeed in value-based care programs such as traditional MIPS and MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs).
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with EHR systems, and a foundational understanding of healthcare regulatory programs—particularly within ophthalmology. Experience working with ophthalmology practices or ophthalmic data is required. You will collaborate closely with our Value-Based Care Advisors and the Director of Health Policy to support client performance, ensure compliance, and contribute to internal policy awareness initiatives.
