Title: Clinical Data Management & Biostatistics Intern Location: This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. As part of our team, you’ll be monitoring and analyzing clinical trial data that will drive breakthroughs in patient treatment across this broad spectrum of disease states. What You’ll Do The Clinical Data Management and Biostatistics Intern will support data management and analysis activities for clinical studies evaluating patient outcomes following thrombectomy for ischemic stroke, pulmonary embolism, and peripheral arterial/venous disease. This internship provides hands-on clinical research experience within a regulated medical device environment and is intended for students or recent graduates interested in clinical research, data management, or biostatistics. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing clinical study data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy Generating reports and data listings to guide clinical study monitoring activities Writing code to automate report generation and perform statistical analyses Generating summary tables, figures, and graphics for presentations and publications What You’ll Bring At least 2 years of university level coursework completed towards a science related discipline (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health) Proficient with Excel and at least one programing language (R and Python preferred) Proficient with statistical methods for analyzing and summarizing data An eye for detail and pattern recognition Experience with electronic databases, data querying and manipulation a plus What You’ll Gain Imperative Care provides an opportunity for students to work in the dynamic medical device industry and gain valuable hands-on experience analyzing clinical study data.
